NYAN HEROES - Erebus Map - Giant Crane

This is the most iconic and tallest prop on the Erebus map—a massive industrial crane designed to support the narrative and scale of the environment. I was responsible for creating this hero asset, which plays a key role in the map’s worldbuilding and visual identity.

The crane was designed to move large structures and heavy materials across the frozen landscape, and it's also capable of lifting massive blocks of ice—hinting at both industrial activity and the harsh conditions of the environment. Its towering silhouette serves as a visual landmark for players, while its detailed construction adds to the realism and functionality of the space.

I focused on ensuring that the design felt grounded in both utility and style, combining mechanical detailing with wear and weathering to reflect its use in a cold, rugged setting. The asset was created with performance and gameplay readability in mind, while still delivering high visual fidelity up close.
